Droning

I recently read that Amazon is predicting that it will be delivering some packages directly to customers' front doors by using drones.  The packages will be weight restricted.  This should take a few years to fully develop and get FAA approval.

This delivery system is way beyond my ken.  All I can foresee is problems.  These drones will be very small and will be zooming all over the place.  How much ducking and swerving will we be doing as they get close to the target front door?  How many dogs, cats and people will be scared out of their wits?  How can this be cost effective and error proof?  Is this going to present problems of others stealing deliveries by shooting the drones down from the air?  What are they thinking

What do you think?

  1. crazy idea........but I guess folk in the 1900 would have thought a lot of things we take for granted as normal everyday things would be only a "crazy idea," back in their day?

  2. You are right. Perhaps I am only seeing the dangerous side. We will just have to wait and see.
