Loose Change and Body Creme

Happy weekend to you all.  It is supposed to hit 80 deg F  this weekend.  Maybe Spring is actually going to arrive.

When I receive coin as change in a shop I throw it in the bottom of my purse.  By the end of a week or two my purse feels as though it weighs 15 pounds.  That is when I empty out the change and put it into a jar.  After a few months I empty the jar, roll the change and get a total.  I am always amazed at how much is there.  I just did this and came up with $121.18!  It isn't "found" money but it is still like a gift.

You know what can happen as one gets older?  Skin dries and loses elasticity.  Dry skin can be ugly and sometimes hurtful.  I have been slathering moisturizing cream all over myself for years but my skin is still dry.  Until now!!  My friend, Frank, recommended using "Udder Smooth Body Creme".  This stuff was originally developed to use on dairy cows.  I guess their udders get dried out, too.  Once I got past the visual of udders being creamed I tried it.  This stuff is fantastic!  My elbows, arms and legs have never felt so good.  A 12 oz. jar costs only about $3.00.  I love it when inexpensive products do the job.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Meanwhile .... keep it simple and make it real.

  1. I have used udder cream for years on the tip of my middle finger on my left hand after I have done a hand quilting session. Stops the soreness from the needle pricks.
