Good Morning!!  How is it going for you today?

Time for the banana update.  This pic is day two of the banana freshness test.  So far, so good.

This post is a bit of a mish-mash of things.  A few of the items are up for discussion.  I have opinions on them and I would like to hear yours.

First - The Tottoos

This is a temporary tattoo to be put on a child in circumstances where the child could easily be lost in a crowd, i.e amusement parks, beaches, playgrounds.

I love this idea.  It is not going to prevent the child from wandering away but it will save a lot or worry and time when he/she shows it to someone or someone notices it.  I understand the site also does medical emergency tattoos.

This is a pretty good idea, too.  I wish I had one of these when I was running in the rain from the train station to my office in Boston.  The stupid drivers would just speed on by not caring that they were splashing everyone in sight.

Moving on to the Hanger Hamper

I know that hangers seem to multiply all by themselves like bunnies but I do not think that a special hamper is necessary to house them.  Putting hangers in a shopping bag or hanging them on the rod is good enough for me. 

One suggestion that the site had was to keep a hanger hamper on or near your ironing board for quick retrieval.  In my case that would mean never seeing the hangers because I rarely iron.  I don't know how much these cost but I wouldn't spend any amount on this.  What do you think?

I am thankful for my sister with whom I have shared so much but still not enough.

100!!!

 

This post is my 100th.  Without you, the readers, this would never have been accomplished.  Knowing that there are people who continue to read this blog is inspiration enough for me to continue. 

I do hope that those people who casually stop by to take a look, will feel that there is a good reason to come back.  Nothing fancy here - just simple ways to keep life simple.

Out there on  the web there are some really sharp items that deserve a second look because of both their uniqueness and usefullness.  I don't know the cost of these products but, even if they are not cheap, some super smart person may be able to come up with a less costly version.

This door handle goes into several different positions. Each position

can shut off electricity, heat, etc.   I have no idea how this works but

I think it is a great energy saver, money saver and peace-of-mind saver.

 

 

This is from Piotr Kozlowski Designs.

It is called a finger helmut and can save a lot

of injures.

 

 

 

 

This is from Node.

It is an electric outlet.  There is no need for a power

strip because you can plug in anywhere on the 2 lines.

Though I did not mean to get caught up in perusing Pinterest, I was glued to the products page yesterday.  I must be living under a rock because I was gobsmacked to see what is available in the world today.

I am going to share a few of these items.  Please understand that I am neither recommending them nor promoting them in any way.  They are just too darn different not to share.

The first two items are from Yanko Design

This is flat extension cord for placement under rugs/carpets.  Ingenious!

These are stand alone toothbrushes!  You will never not have a clean place to put your toothbrush - no matter where you are.

The next is from Dezeen

This is called an Ostrich Pillow designed for quick, comfy naps wherever you may be - even at your desk!  Bizarre!

The next is from Solutions

It is a rubber ribbon with which you make cake forms in any shape you please.  This is not a bad idea for us simple folks.
