Here I go again. I am leading you down the garden path. This time I am going to give you some diy trellises. Take a look.
3-Step Garden Trellis
"One morning, a few lengths of lumber, and a ball of twine and you can make a custom trellis for your garden." This trellis can be stored when the season ends. This project comes from My Home Ideas and all the directions can be found here.
Tipi Trellis
(I would spell it "teepee" but it is not my trellis.)
"For a quick, inexpensive support for climbing plants, build a simple tipi of natural materials you may already have." This project comes from sunset.com and all the directions can be found here.
Wire Trellis Tower
"Turn durable wire screen into rugged garden trellises for climbing plants. Then add summertime color with painted steel straps to complement the blooms." This project is from lowes.com and all the directions can be found here.
These trellises seem to be easy to construct and serve the purpose. This statement comes, of course, from a non-gardener. Take it for what it is worth. Ha!
Meanwhile .... keep it simple and make it real.

bamboo is great for making trellises as well. I have found some free one on craigslist.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. I have never seen them free but they are available. Thanks. Welcome home!
