I post lots and lots of tips. When they are applicable, I use the tips. Of course, I don't remember a lot of them so some of the tips fall by the wayside. Not this time, however. I remembered the tip about putting baking soda in the water when making hard-boiled eggs. It sooooo works!

I tapped the egg one time to open the shell and it broke into two perfect pieces and the egg slid out! Obviously it doesn't take much to impress me ....
