I read Prevention Magazine occasionally. If I read it more often I would be better off but that is a story for another day.
These tidbits were published in May, 2012. These are small items of info but worth reading once and using, if applicable.
Take a look.
"2,491 - the number of additional steps taken each day by people who wear a pedometer versus those who don't."
"Drink your water ice-cold. The low temperature prompts your body to burn more calories during digestion."
"Bell peppers contain natural chemicals called capsinoids that can help you lose weight. So eat a pepper a day to help banish belly fat."
"62 beats per minute - Women with this resting heart rate or lower are less likely to suffer a coronary event."
"1 oz. - The amount of pomegranate juice you need to drink every day for a year to lower your blood pressure by up to 20%."
"3% - how many people check social networks while having sex, per an Australian survey." Personal note: why would that question be on any survey and who are the ones who answered "yes"? I do believe that this is the first time the word "sex" has appeared in this blog. Should I make it a permanent category?
I hope that these tidbits had a bit of an "oh, really?" reaction. You know me - out to clutter the world with insignificant information.
Meanwhile .... keep it simple and make it real.
