“Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.”
Confucius
Imagine this. The fire/smoke alarm has gone off in your house. You know you have only a few minutes to get out. Besides people and pets, what did you grab to take with you?
Did you grab the flat screen t.v.? How about the $2,000 painting you couldn’t live without two years ago? Did you grab all the clothes from your closet? Did you put the exercise equipment on your back and haul it out?
I would take my purse, my medicine, my phone and a blanket.
Think about what is most important to you and why. Do things make you feel better? After you purchased a new car or whatever did that exhilarating feeling leave after a short time and it just became a “thing”?
Did buying a designer brand pair of shoe for $200 remain a thrill or did those shoes simply become something to wear as foot covering?
Think about all of this and then look around.to see what you really need and has some great importance to you. All else becomes clutter and can be rid of. Livin’ easy, that’s it.
Just think about it. Please.
