I am grateful for remembering things in my childhood.
Angel Food Cake with Pineapple
A recipe for this cake has been going around for a little while now. My friend, Karen in Massachusetts, also told me how easy it was to make and tasted so good. Karen's recommendations have never let me down before. I made it tonight.
Ingredients:
1 box Angel Food Cake mix
1 tall can crushed pineapple
You are reading it right. That is all there is.
Mix the cake mix and pineapple together in a bowl. It will be bumpy - almost like air bubbles. Be careful when you pour the mix in the bowl. It is a fine powder that goes right to your nose and clogs it up. Do as I say, not as I do.
Pour the mixture into a tube or bundt pan and bake according to the package directions.
That's it. All done. Take a look.
Cut a slice and add a little Cool Whip.....

CH loved it. It is supposed to be low in calories and maybe even a Weight Watcher's recipe. Whatever, it really tastes great.
Another way of keeping it easy... and simple.
