Dollar Store DIY's

It makes no sense to spend a bunch of money on things that can be had at the dollar store for so much less.  If one can make a knock off for a few bucks and some time - more power to them.

As always, the Curbly Team has masterminded two useful things with all the makings from the dollar store.  First is a pebble bath mat.   This is what was used to make the mat:

                                   rubber welcome mat
                                   4 bags of river rocks
                                   some contact adhesive
Please click here for the particulars.

These mats go for $40 in the stores.

This dollar store find is simply a sponge cut in half to produce an ergonomically based wrist rest.  So simple and so cheap .... that's what I like.

Have a peaceful, easy Sunday.

Meanwhile .... keep it simple and make it real.

Jeanne
