DIY with Wood

I came across two very interesting DIY projects that include wood and Elmer's Glue.  The instructions at first may seem a bit daunting but they appear to work themselves down to my level after a few readings.

The first is Scrabble Wall Art.  The words in this project are grandkids names but this could be done with any words that are meaningful to you.  The scale of this project may be too large for you but it is easy to scale down the measurements.  All of the directions can be found at Instructables.

Next up is a countertop greenhouse made to fit 4 small pots of herbs or whatever you like.  Again the dimensions can be adjusted to fit your needs.  The DIY'er stated that it cost $20.  Not bad,,,,,,especially if you will be making it for a gift.

Keep it simple, folks!
